Joining the ICPEM gives members the opportunity to network with experienced practitioners & academics in the fields of civil protection, emergency management, resilience & associated disciplines.

The Institute aims to keep members informed of news & events through various media, including its journal, ‘Alert’, occasional specialist research papers, the web site, special interest groups & conferences. All applications are individually assessed by or on behalf of the Executive Council.

With four grades of membership, a fee structure aimed at serving the interests of members, and promoting early career engagement, the Institute benefits from the involvement of a wide range of practitioners and academics, and strong links to academia.

Members are encouraged to submit articles for publication in Alert, the Institute journal

Problems with membership fees or conference fees?

Is your organisation baulking against paying your membership or conference fees?   If so, help is at hand for ICPEM members or prospective members.   If your organisation is a client of Community Resilience  they will pay half of your membership fees or your conference fees (less accommodation and travel) to your organisation.   But you need to speak wıth them on 0300 999 2004 or 01622 004679 to find out whether your organisation is a client and, if so, to make the necessary arrangements.
