ICPEM member Noel Pollard recently deployed a team to Beirut to respond to the Ethiopian Airlines incident.
Noel deployed his Blake Emergency Services (BES) emergency response team to provide support to the airline and a passenger information service for passenger relatives.
Fellow ICPEM member Abigail Pollard led the team to Beirut for the first week to set-up their control and information centre and coordinate the wide range of tasks that are always required following a major aircraft incident.
In recent months BES have also responded to the Yemenia incident in the Comores and ICPEM member Richard Ward led a team to assist Air France in Brazil following the loss of their flight AF447 over the Atlantic.
Blake Emergency Services was formed 30 years ago by Bill Blake, currently Joint Chairman of the Institute, and now a Director of BES.
